Step 1
Complete and submit the Franchise Application.

Step 2
CKI mails you a Uniform Franchise Disclosure Document (UFDD) (as required by law).  Upon receipt and review of the documents, sign and return the UFDD acknowledgement receipt.

Step 3
A Franchise Development Manager will contact you to discuss your particular situation.

Step 4
A credit verification and a reference check will be completed.

Step 5
Our Franchise Development Management team will visit your site and determine if it meets Country Kitchen® International’s site criteria.  You will be asked to complete and submit a Site Summary Form.

Step 6
You will attend a “Day of Discovery” at our corporate headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.  The “Day of Discovery” offers an in-depth discussion with key CKI personnel.

Step 7
We enter into a Franchise Agreement.  At this time you will pay a franchise fee of $40,000.

Step 8
Franchisee and a minimum of two of the franchisee’s managers must attend a 6- to 10-week training program at a certified training restaurant.

Step 9
Begin construction.

Step 10
Prepare for the grand opening with the assistance of our Education Coordinator, Franchise Consultant and marketing department.
